DEWSBURY AND DISTRICT RAMBLERS: Last week the club holiday in Scotland was enjoyed by everyone. Members were fortunate to have good weather which enhanced the walks and the scenery. On Wednesday April 30 15 walkers started from Midgedale and walked to Gibson Mill via Hardcastle Crags and Hebden Water. The walk continued the climb out of the valley to the moor above Walshaw Grange where lunch was taken before taking a downhill path back to the start. In spite of the weather forecast the weather proved fine. Mick Boardman was the leader. A mystery walk is planned for Sunday. This is a 'B' walk. Meet at Wellington Road car park in Dewsbury at 9am. Sean Addison will be the leader.
