Pet project for Dogs’ Trust

A charity has hosted a doggy awareness week to teach people about all aspects of dog ownership.
The Dogs Trust Advice and Adoption centre in Birstall has been informing children about looking after their pets from nutrition to grooming.
The adoption centre has been open for the past 18 months in the Pets at Home store and has rehomed 33 dogs.
Adoption advisor of The Dogs Trust Neil Brown said: “We want the children to grow up and keep this information in mind.
“It is really important to get children involved, get them familiar with dogs and get into good habits when looking after pets.”
