New look for Howden Clough centre

IT’s taken four months, hard work and some TLC – but the fully refurbished Chatterbox Centre has reopened.
The community hub, in Dudley Avenue, Howden Clough, has had a complete makeover with help from the Probation Service, Howden Clough Tenants’ and Residents’ Association, Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing and a donation from the Costcutters store next door.
On Monday visitors enjoyed cake and a cuppa in the new lounge area at an official opening event.
