White Lee Road homes plan given thumbs up

An application to build up to 14 new houses on land off White Lee Road, Batley, has been approved.

Councillors supported the plans at the Heavy Woollen planning sub-committee meeting.

The application is an outline proposal and only access to the site had been applied for.

Councillors also deferred an application to change the use of a derelict building on Low Lane, Birstall, to retail.
