Letter: Power to the pupils

I THINK Batley Parish school children (‘Pupil power’, News, June 28) have pointed out the problems which happen at all schools in the area these days – traffic and parents wanting to get as near to school as they can, so they don’t have to walk.

One problem I see every day, which is bad is parents letting their children out of cars in the middle of the road.

one of these days there is going to be an accident. and the parent will say it’s not their fault.

It seems the children can teach their parents a thing or two.

Good for them. Keep it up, children!
