REGARDING the latest bout of political correctness involving Myleene Klass and the ticking off she received by the police for brandishing an offensive weapon.

It makes you wonder what the individual police constables would have done had it involved any of their immediate relatives, while attending a similar incident.
Would they admonish their relatives for waving a knife in their own home without even bothering to go after the trespassers involved? I think not.
Surely, the police need to get back to what we pay them for. That is to prevent crime and to catch the criminals.
Their own common sense must tell them that if they continue down the politically correct route, they will alienate the very same people, as well as their own families, that they originally joined the police force to protect.
