THROUGH your letters page please could we appeal to your readers for help? The Monkey Sanctuary Trust – a registered charity working both nationally and internationally with a base in Looe, Cornwall – can make the world of difference to the lives of monkeys with just a postage stamp!
All your readers have to do is send us any used foreign stamps that they may have received from countries all around the world. We will then soak them and sell them to stamp collectors visiting the sanctuary in our on-site shop. The Monkey Sanctuary
Trust relies on fundraising strategies such as these to raise much-needed funds and we would be most grateful to anyone who felt they were able to help with this appeal.

The Monkey Sanctuary Trust provides care, protection, treatment and security for animals which are in need because of sickness, maltreatment or poor circumstances and also educates the public in matters relating to animal welfare and the prevention of cruelty and suffering.

Please send any used stamps, (leaving a 1cm square of the envelope around the stamp), to Tina Robinson, The Monkey Sanctuary Trust, The Monkey Sanctuary, Murrayton, Looe, PL13 1NZ.

If you would like more information on either this appeal or The Monkey Sanctuary Trust in general please phone 01503 262532 or visit www.monkeysanctuary.org
