GET ready to paint the town pink – the award-winning musical Legally Blonde is coming to Sheffield Lyceum.

Based on the hit Hollywood film starring Reese Witherspoon, the musical follows the story of Elle Woods – a popular girl who can handle just about anything.

When her boyfriend Warner dumps her to go to the prestigeous Harvard law school she’s determined to win him back.

With the help of her new-found friends and her faithful dog Bruiser, she learns she has more legal savvy than she ever imagined.

The musical is on tour for the first time, having won seven major awards including the coveted Olivier Award for best musical in 2011.

Hairspray choreographer Jerry Mitchell ensures every musical number packs a punch, and stars Family Fortunes’ Les Dennis, Brookside’s Ray Quinn and X-Factor finalist Niki Evans bring the popular characters to life.

Legally Blonde is at Sheffield Lyceum Theatre from Tuesday February 14 to Saturday February 25.

For tickets, which cost from £22-£42,contact the box office on 0114 249 6000 or visit www.sheffield theatres.co.uk for more information.
