BROADWAY’S longest running show The Phantom of the Opera is heading for Leeds in August.

It will be at the Grand Theatre from August 8 to September 15 and tickets go on sale on February 9.

The lead is performed by John Owen-Jones, who has played roles in the West End, and Christine is taken by Katie Hall who was a contestant on BBC1’s I’d Do Anything.

“Receiving The Phantom of the Opera is one of the highlights in the wonderful history of the Grand Theatre,” said Ian Sime, Leeds Grand Theatre’s general manager.

“I believe our beautiful auditorium is just perfect for this production; with that and the new staging it will be a wonderful night out for our audiences“.

The Phantom of the Opera has won over 60 major theatre awards, including seven Tonys on Broadway, three Olivier Awards in the West End and the Most Popular Musical Audience Award as voted by the public in the 2002 Laurence Olivier Awards.

Book by calling the box office on 0844 8482705 or online at leedsgrandtheatre.com.

Advance booking is advisable.
