Trace your family roots

A FAMILY history group has restarted its classes for the autumn term.

Led by tutor Lynne Schofield, a former senior researcher with the Huddersfield Family History Society, the classes at St Mary’s Social Club, Batley, offer slots for both beginners and experienced researchers.

The course includes a visit to Dublin to check the Irish National Archives.

Classes are held on Thursdays with beginners from 10am to noon and improvers from 2pm to 4pm. Admission £5. Call 01484 649138.
