POLICE are treating a flat fire in Batley as arson.
Witnesses to the fire at the flat on Chinewood Avenue, at around 12.30am on June 16, are being sought by detectives.
The fire caused £5,000 worth of damage to the inside of the flat.
Anyone who saw people acting suspiciously in the area at time or has any information is asked to contact DC Jason Thorpe, at Dewsbury CID, on 01924 431086.
