Pensioner hurt in car collision

A PENSIONER was knocked down on Central Estate in Batley on Monday.
Police officers and an ambulance were called to the scene in Hume Crest at around noon.

Children playing in the area saw the woman in her 70s get knocked down by a white Ford Transit van.

A police spokesman confirmed she suffered minor injuries.
