A NEW sexual health clinic has opened in Dewsbury to replace the clinic at Batley Health Centre.
The new clinic at Dewsbury Health Centre offers confidential advice for all ages on safe sex and unplanned pregnancies.

It will also offer emergency contraception, pregnancy testing, smear tests and free condoms.

The clinic is run by Kirklees Contraception and Sexual Health (CASH) service, and the move to Dewsbury will allow CASH to provide a greater range of services as well as more drop-in and screening sessions.

CASH business manager Louise Manders said: “This is a really exciting time for the service as we move into our new premises. We are committed to providing young people with better access to services and will be holding a drop-in clinic every Wednesday as well as daily drop-ins for all ages. We want to make it even easier for people to seek advice and feel comfortable and supported.”
