Apprentices engineer top awards
Calderdale and Kirklees Engineering Training Provider, Kirkdale Industrial Training Services, recently held its annual awards ceremony at the Brighouse Civic Hall. More than 100 certificates and special awards ranging from Best Mechanical Apprentice to Overall Apprentice of the Year were presented.
Zac Walker (Stoneywood Garage ) won the Overall Apprentice of the Year; Emma Firth (Firth’s Garage, Heckmondwike) won Best light Vehicle Apprentice, and Namaan Javed (H W Architectural) won First Year Engineering Apprentice of the Year.
