Charities backed by the community could recieve a share of a £100,000 fund.
Yorkshire Building Society is urging people to nominate local charities and good causes in their community for a £100 share of the pot.
The Batley branch, in Branch Road, will be open for nominations from Monday as part of Make A Difference Week.
All charities put forward will be considered to recieve a cash boost from the Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation.
Manager Ann Brabiner said: “Make A Difference Week is a chance for the people of our town to tell us exactly which charities mean the most to them and they would like to see us support.
“This is our opportunity to help some of the smaller good causes that can often be overlooked for donations.
“We’ve made it as simple as possible for people to tell us about their favourite charity – all they have to do is call into the branch and fill in a form.”
The Foundation has already donated more than £5m to charities across the UK – £12,000 of which has been shared out in Batley.
