A new scheme is being launched to help give patients the chance to shape the future of health services in Kirklees.

NHS North Kirklees Clincal Commissioning Group want to hear the views of patients to help them improve the level of service.

The ‘Your Health, Your Say’ network is for people living in North Kirklees who want to get involved in the work of their local NHS and help shape services now and into the future.

An NHS spokersperson said: “Our health needs are changing and many of the illnesses we once knew are a thing of the past and the way we treat or manage health conditions is developing and improving.

“Maybe you want to know more about what changes are happening and what this might mean to you or your local community.

“Or perhaps you’d like to share your views about how services should be developed in the future.

“It’s your health and your health service, and we want to hear what you have to say.”

Dr David Kelly, Chair of NHS North Kirklees CCG and local GP, said: “Through the ‘Your Health, Your Say’ network we will keep you up to date with the work of NHS North Kirklees Clinical Commissioning Group and let you know about any changes that are planned across the Kirklees area.

“You’ll receive invitations to all our events as well as have opportunities to have your say through online surveys or face-to-face discussions.”
