Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenager was exposed to a sexual act, while waiting for a bus.
The incident happened between 7am to 7.15am on Monday when the boy was in Bradford Road near to the junction of Anne Street.
The man, who was committing a sexual act, approached the 14-year-old and tried to speak to him.
The victim refused the request and the man walked off in the direction of Wilton Park.
At no point was any physical contact made with the victim.
The suspect is described as white, around 30-years-old, 5ft 8in, stocky build, very short black hair and had weathered skin.
He was wearing a black waist length jacket and dark coloured jogging trousers with vertical grey stripes down the side. Detective Inspector Ian Thornes, from Kirklees CID, said: “I would ask dog walkers or joggers, who may have been Wilton Park on Monday morning, to cast their mind back and contact police if they remember seeing anything suspicious.”
Anyone with information should contact police on 101.
