Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model contender Saffron Williams, from Batley, has been blogging her journey for the News.

In this week’s update, Saffron went from the catwalk to the beach and made it through to the next round.

“This weeks episode was one of my favourite. When we first got told we would be doing a go-see I was really nervous because I’d never done it before.

“Walking for Daniel Lismore was so scary, I was watching all of the other girls walk and they had these huge dresses that looked impossible to walk in!

“The dress Daniel chose for me was beautiful. I wasn’t expecting good feedback as I know my walk isn’t my strong point, but Daniel said I was his favourite girl so far.

“I was so relieved and I couldn’t stop smiling.

“When we got back to the house we got an Elle Mail saying that we wouldn’t need our bikinis on the next beach shoot. We knew straight away this meant we’d either be topless or nude!

“The next day we got to the beach and met Jourdan Dunn, who’s so inspirational and beautiful we were all so happy that she was a mentor. “She told us that we wouldn’t just be posing topless, but with male models too.

“Obviously I was nervous because it was something so far out of my comfort zone, but once I was on set I didn’t feel the cold or the fact “I was topless with some male model on a beach.

“I really enjoyed this week and when I got to elimination I wasn’t as worried as I had been in previous weeks.

“I had spoken to Jess throughout the week and I knew she was worried for herself, so I was worried for her too.

“I think Jess had just let her nerves on the topless shoot get to her a little bit too much, everyone was sad to see her leave.”
