A CAR was flipped over when it collided with a truck in Dewsbury Ring Road today.
Police were called to the corner of Bradford Road at 12.41pm after a silver Vauxhall Corsa was in a crash with a truck owned by Sita.
The Corsa driver was taken to Pinderfields Hosptial in Wakefield, though her injuries are not thought to be serious.
The clockwise sliproad from the ring road onto Bradford Road was closed while police dealt with the incident.
Bob Smith, a supervisor from recycling and waste management firm Sita, said the truck driver was not hurt, but was shaken up.
“He is not in a state to drive a vehicle,” Mr Smith said.
“I have had to bring somebody else along to take the vehicle back.”
