Has Batley got talent?

Auditions are being held the find the most talented person in Batley.

Two heats will take place, with the first at the RAFA Club in Cambridge Street on November 22.

The Irish National Club in Upper Commercial Street will host the second one, on November 26.

The final of the competition will take place on Batley Town Hall after the Christmas lights switch-on ceremony on November 29.

Batley and Dewsbury towns manager Andrew Sloman said: “It is a fantastic opportunity for the stars of the Batley area to strut their stuff on the stage.

“It doesn’t matter how experie nced you are, just come along and take part.

“Previous entries have gone on to bigger and better things.”

Music acts who enter could be in with a chance of recording a CD with the Pulse.
