Two lanes of the M62 motorway have been closed after a lorry overturned.
The vehicle was involved in an incident at around 4pm on the westbound carriageway between junction 23 at Huddersfield and junction 22 at Rishworth Moor.
Drivers, using both the M1 and M62, are being warned to take extra care in the strong winds forecast for the rest of today and into tomorrow morning.
The M62 has been closed to high sided vehicles between junction 22 and junction 24, and the M1 at the Tinsley viaduct in South Yorkshire.
Standing water caused by heavy rain is also causing a hazard on the region’s roads.
