Man rushed to hospital and road taped off following Batley crash

A man has been taken to hospital after a car crash in Batley.

The smash in Enfield Drive involved one moving and two stationary cars before 6.54am this morning (Wednesday).

Police taped the street off and ambulance rushed the driver of the moving vehicle, who is in his 40s, to Dewsbury and District Hospital.

The three vehicles involved were a Citroen Xsara Picasso, blue Kia Sorento and gold Jaguar X-Type.

It is not clear which of these cars the injured driver was behind the wheel of.

It is also not yet known how severe the driver’s condition is.

The road is now understood to be reopened.
