Police in Kirklees are appealing for information as to the whereabouts of Jabber Ali who is wanted on recall to prison.
Ali, 33, was released on licence having been sentenced to controlled drugs supply in August 2010.
Ali is believed to have connections in both Dewsbury and Batley.
Det Sgt Paul Keitch of Kirklees CID said: “Ali has breached the conditions of his prison licence and is also wanted in connection with a burglary and an assault.
“If he is not prepared to adhere to these strict guidelines then he must be brought to justice and recalled to prison.
“We have undertaken numerous enquiries to locate this man and officers are fully briefed as to his description.
“Members of the public, however; can assist in our efforts to return him to jail and I would call on anyone who has seen him or has information, to contact us immediately.
