‘Black Mamba’ scare for Kirklees school children

FOUR school children from Kirklees have been taken to hospital after smoking a legal-high known as ‘Black Mamba’.

Police are now warning parents to be vigilant after the four pupils almost lost consciousness after taking the herbal drug. While not illegal, Black Mamba can lead to serious health problems.

One of the four children who smoked the substance was ‘close to losing consciousness’ and felt sick.

All four were treated at Dewsbury and District Hospital, but were later released.
