Grassroots Giving - Don't forget your paperwork

COMMUNITY groups who have applied for a share of a £20,000 fund are being urged to send in their supporting documents before it's too late.

The deadline for Grassroots Giving was March 6 but the team at the Community Foundation for Calderdale (CCFC) has found a lot of applications are missing vital information.

Groups have just a few days to send in their supporting documents or they'll miss out on cash to help their work in the community.

Only applications with the full documentation will move on to the panel stage when successful groups will be awarded grants of 250 to 900 from the Grassroots Grants Kirklees fund, set up by the Office of the Third Sector.

Completed forms must be returned to Grassroots Giving, Community Foundation House, 162A King Cross Road, Halifax, HX1 3LN by Thursday.
