Help get charity £250,000
THE Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice could be in with a chance of getting £250,000.
It just needs your votes.
To mark its 40th birthday, Persimmon Homes is giving one regional charity a new house, worth a quarter of a million pounds, which the charity can keep or sell.
The hospice, which supports children in Kirklees with life limiting conditions and their families, has been shortlisted from more than 3,000 nominations to just 24 charities from around the country.
Each charity is on the Persimmon Homes website, and visitors can vote for one charity each day until September 20.
The hospice’s partnership development manager Jason Costello said: “All I am asking is that you take two seconds to go to the web page and vote for us – and if possible please do this every day until the closing date.
“It is really important, it will take just a few seconds of your time and will not cost you a penny but it could be the deciding factor in getting us £250,000 to help children and families who so desperately need it.”
To vote, visit www.40.persimmonhomes.com and follow the instructions.
