Holidaymaker meets Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond
A CARLINGHOW woman enjoyed a high tea with some famous faces on a recent trip to South Africa.
Samantha Romarin was in the country's capital Cape Town with her mum and sister when she bumped into the presenters of Top Gear at a posh hotel.
Samantha, 30, who works for a training company in Leeds, said: "We were due to meet my cousin for high tea at a hotel. I texted my cousin to see if he was there yet and he texted back to say he was sitting opposite Jeremy Clarkson.
"When we walked in he was sitting there with Richard Hammond. They were sitting with their laptops and we found out later that they were due to film a show in Cape Town the next day and were just working on their scripts."
Samantha, who was born in South Africa but moved away when she was five, had no plans to go over and say hello, but when they got up to leave and were stopped by some other hotel guests, she took the opportunity to ask them to pose for a photograph.
"They were both very friendly and chatty."
