Praise for hospital staff
I would like to endorse the comments made by Ronald Tipping about Dewsbury and District Hospital in last week's Batley and Birstall News (‘Treated with tender care', Letterbox, May 27).
My son has had three emergency admissions to the hospital in the last six months and on each occasion the care he received was exemplary.
The paramedics, the A & E unit, the staff and consultants on wards five, six and 10 and the teams on MAU and the coronary care unit were so efficient, compassionate and skilful that we believe he owes his life to them.
All our experiences of Dewsbury Hospital have been positive and I would like to praise the staff there for their reassurance, commitment and expertise.
