Roll on summer!
EVER fancied the idea of walking on water?
Then get down to Batley Sports and Tennis Centre and have a go at doing just that with new Walk-on-Water Ball sessions.
All you do is climb into a giant inflatable then roll into the pool and try to stand up in the walk-on-water ball. It's tricky at first, but you soon get the hang of it and start to have fun as you compete with friends or just improve your own technique.
Simon Simpson, the centre's duty manager, said: "This is a fantastic way of keeping fit while having fun. It's been popular with people of all ages."
The sessions are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays 11am-noon, Sundays 4.30pm-5.30pm. All sessions cost 2.50. Birthday parties are available for anyone aged eight and over.
