Thanks for a great day
I WOULD like to express thanks on behalf of the Society for the Blind of Dewsbury, Batley and District, its members, volunteers and staff to the Trustees of the Batley Nursing Trust.
I applied to the Trust for some financial support for the Christmas meal and entertainment the society likes to put on every year for over 100 of our visually impaired members.
The society was delighted when the application was approved and we received 420.
This money really helped the society to put on a great day, which included a carol service, three-course Christmas dinner and entertainment. The Batley Nursing Trust provides aids for organisations who support the sick and needy in Birstall and Batley.
Application forms can be requested from the Batley Resource Centre throughout the year.
