Thank to all the generous people of Batley and district who supported this year's Christian Aid week collections. The amounts raised were:
Friday May 14 to Saturday May 15 on Commercial Street: 336.15.
Friday May 28 at Tesco: 226.70.
This money has been sent, along with other money raised by the Christian churches, to Christian Aid to help with their vital work in the poorer parts of the world and those ravaged by war, natural disaster and starvation.
