THE forth annual Yorkshire Rose Dog Rescue fun dog show will be held at Oakwell Hall Country Park next weekend.

The show will once again feature fun classes including pedigree, prettiest bitch, handsome dog, best veteran, waggiest tale and doggy fancy dress.

The fun will kick off at the Birstall park with registration from 11am on Sunday, September 16. Judging will start from 1pm, and microchipping for £10 will take place from noon to 2pm.

Stalls and a tombola will also be set up, with profits on the day being donated to Yorkshire Rose Dog Rescue.

Organiser Kathy Hirst said: “Each year it’s just got bigger and better.

“Last year there were 3,000 visitors to Oakwell which is brilliant for what started out as just a little dog show.”
