THROUGH the Batley and Birstall News I would like to thank the electorate in Batley East for returning me as your Labour councillor.

Thanks must also go to my team of supporters and fellow councillors who delivered leaflets, canvassed on my behalf and worked to support me on May 6.

I would like to assure everyone in Batley East that I will try to resolve any issues you may wish to raise with me relating to council services on your behalf.
