I AM writing on behalf of Marie Curie Cancer Care to thank your readers for supporting our annual Batley Street Collection on March 5 as part of our Great Daffodil Appeal.
The total amount raised was 268.22.
This generosity will help our nurses to care for more people, living with cancer, who are able to choose to remain at home, surrounded by family and friends. Their typical 10 hour shift starts at 10pm and their intervention, more often than not, lifts the proverbial weight from the shoulders of many families.
We are passionate about everyone having the opportunity to pass away at home and with the support offered by your readers we will be able to achieve our goal.
