You raised the roof!

ON behalf of everyone at Dewsbury Minster may I express our sincere thanks to all those who worked so hard to ensure that this year's Charity Ball was such a resounding success.

Now that the accounts have been finalised I am delighted to be able to confirm, that thanks to the wonderful generosity of our many partners in Town Centre Life, a total of 5372 was raised towards the Minster's Roof Appeal.

Our only regret is that this money will have to be used to help to offset the massive 41,000 bill we have been faced with, following the recent lead thefts, rather than in funding some exciting intitiave which would inspire and enthuse the local community. However, needs must, but thank you again to all those, who with us, are determined to ensure that a selfish minority will never get the upper hand, and that your Minster Church will always remain a focal point in the life of our town - a place of welcome & hospitality to those of all faiths and none.

God Bless You.
