Pupils brought the world into their classrooms by hosting a bundle of activities for International Week.
Every class in St Mary’s Catholic Primary School, Batley, learnt about a different country for a whole week.
Focusing on French and Spanish speaking countries, pupils enjoyed salsa dancing, African drumming sessions, and much more throughout the week.
Children were also treated to a special performance from a Spanish guitarist and a talk from woman who grew up in Quebec, Canada.
On Friday, the youngsters enjoyed a non-uniform day and wore colours from their country’s flag.
Natalie Curran, modern foreign language co-ordinator, said: “It is an opportunity for us to enrich the curriculum, with the provision of activities with people from different countries.”
