Children have been demonstrating their survival skills by building dens and learning about the outdoors.
Key stage 2 pupils from Lydgate Junior and Infant School were taught about building structures and creating joints using a variety of materials. The children were then taken out of their classrooms and asked to build shelters.
Headteacher Judith Hopwood said: “The children had an absolutely fantastic time. It was designed to give them an experience that they normally would not have and helped develop team work.”
