Rail delays after train accident

TRAINS between Leeds and Huddersfield are still delayed after someone was hit on the line at Dewsbury.

Services affected are First TransPennine Express and Northern Rail, with delays of up to one hour between Leeds and Huddersfield, and other services cancelled.

The accident happened earlier this morning, but delays are expected until further notice and police have been at Dewsbury station.
