Motorists face delays as work to improve motorways across the area continue.
The southbound entry and exit slip roads at junction 41 at Wakefield of the M1 motorway will be closed overnight tomorrow and on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
The closures are part of the Highways Agency’s project to upgrade the carriageway to a ‘smart motorway’ between junction 39 at Durkar and junction 42 at Lofthouse.
There will also be slip road closures on the M62 as work continues on a £20m scheme to relieve congestion between junction 30 at Rothwell and junction 32 at Pontefract.
The westbound exit slip road at junction 30 will be closed tonight.
While, the eastbound exit slip road at junction 31 at Normanton will be closed on Monday and Tuesday.
The westbound exit slip road at the same junction will be closed on Wednesday.
All of the closures will be in place from 8pm to 6am.
