YOUNGSTERS and their parents were on the hunt for a grizzly at a nursery open day.

Kids at Healey Junior and Infant School nursery welcomed storyteller Noel Watkins for a fun story telling session with the classic tale We’re Going On A Bear Hunt.

Pupils and parents both joined in with the actions to the tale and enjoyed bear-themed activities.

Youngsters made bear masks and shone torches in their very own bear cave.

Foundation stage coordinator Elaine Milligan said: “It was lovely.

“The parents came in and spent the day with their children, seeing what they do in the nursery.”
