A one-of-a-kind bicycle has been robbed from a teenage boy.
The 16-year-old was riding his Mongoose BMX at the junction of Cross Bank Road and Rosebank Street at about 8pm on Thursday when he was stopped by a man who grabbed the handlebars.
The man demanded the bike and made threats before making off with it towards the Wilton estate.
He was white, about 5ft 8ins to 5ft 10ins, and about 25. He was wearing a dark hooded top and trousers.
The distinctive bike was custom made with light blue handlebars, a maroon frame and cream forks. The front and rear tyres were different makes.
