This month the Batley Business Association (BBA) will host its first ever vintage day festival.

The event will feature live entertainment, cooking workshops, sports and a market across the market place and memorial gardens.

Organisers have also secured a Spitfire flyover, subject to weather conditions.

BBA chairman Andrew Marsden has spoken to The Reporter Series and Morley Observer about how our series of papers have helped support the association.

He also shares the difference local papers make to the lives of the individuals and communities they serve.

Batley Vintage Day will take place on Saturday May 31, 10am-5pm.

You can also watch boxer Gary Sykes talk about his British super featherweight title fight at Dewsbury Sports Centre on our websites.
