The following cases were heard by Kirklees Magistrates’ Court. Numbers refer to the defendants’ ages and not their addresses.

Paul Armitage, (34), of Colbeck Avenue, Batley, jailed for 20 weeks and £50 compensation for stealing CCTV camera, cosmetics and failing to surrender to custody.

Nathan Harriott, (29), of School Crescent, Dewsbury, Community order with electronically-monitored curfew for eight weeks, £85 and £60 victim surcharge for breaching restraining order.

Natisha Hussain, (20), of Tyndale Walk, Batley, £85 costs, £50 fine and £20 victim surcharge for resisting police officer in execution of duty.

Martin Schofield, (54), of Wakefield Road, Heckmondwike, Community order with 10 day rehabilitation activity requirement, £200 costs and £60 victim surcharge for harassment.

Lee Ewart, (31), of Westgate, Cleckheaton, 12-month conditional discharge, £85 costs, £20 victim surcharge and £15 compensation for making off without paying for petrol.

Nassim Khan, (41), of Scopsley Green, Dewsbury, Community order with electronically-monitored curfew for three weeks with 25 day rehabilitation activity requirement, £200 costs and £85 victim surcharge for harassment.

Andrew Stone, (30), of Fountains Avenue, Batley, jailed for 18 weeks for failing to comply with requirements of community order and failing to surrender to custody.

Aiden Coupe, (23), of Princess Street, Dewsbury, Community order with electronically-monitored curfew for two weeks for failing to comply with requirements of community order.

Daniel Porter, (33), of Orange Croft, Doncaster, six-week sentence suspended for 12 months, 150 hours unpaid works, £200 costs, £115 victim surcharge and disqualified from driving for three years for drink-driving in Healey Gardens, Batley without insurance and whilst already disqualified.

Mohamed Lunat, (23), of David Lane, Dewsbury, six hours unpaid work and £50 costs for failing to comply with requirements of community order.

Fahsir Yasin, (31), of Beckett Crescent, Dewsbury, jailed for eight weeks for failing to comply with requirements of community order.

Richard Haldenby, (36), of Third Avenue, Liversedge, £120 fine, £85 costs, £30 victim surcharge and disqualified from driving for 14 months for drink-driving.

Jade Rouse, (21), of Elim Walk, Dewsbury, £85 costs, £40 fine and £20 victim surcharge for threatening and abusive words or behaviour.

Rafel Samsel, (24), of Cedar Road, Dewsbury, £280 fine, £85 costs, £30 victim surcharge and disqualified from driving for 16 months for drink-driving.
