Sisters strut their stuff on BBC’s The Voice
Natalie Wood, 26, and her sister Leanne Wood, 28, from Littletown, faced judges Will.I.Am, Kylie, Tom Jones and Ricky Wilson on last Saturday’s show, when they performed My Man Music by Stooshe.
Although the girls didn’t get through, they are celebrating making it onto the show as they had to get through nine rounds of auditions to get onto the live show.

Leanne, who is a part time Lady Gaga tribute, said: “Back in May I asked Natalie if she would apply with me. She was a bit dubious but I told her she was my missing jigsaw piece and I needed her as part of the puzzle. She’s like my right arm!
“We got from 40,000 auditionees to the final 73 people so even though we didn’t get through, it feels like a big achievement for us and we don’t see it as a knock back.”
The girls said had they got through, they initially thought they would have chosen Will.i.am as their judge – but after meeting them, they’d have chosen Kylie.

“The experience has brought us closer together. We had to go to London together every other week so there was three months of to-ing and fro-ing. We just loved every second. When we didn’t get through we were more gutted about not being able to carry on the the journey together any more.”
Leanne said: “It’s made us more determined and passionate about carrying on. We’ve learnt from it and we’re going to go back fighting next year and show them what we are made of.”
Their dad Ray was thrilled when the girls brought Sir Tom backstage.
