Tesco staff go the extra miles for charities
Tesco colleagues at the Cleckheaton store are helping to move a million miles during May.
Staff are clocking up the miles, running, cycling, walking and swimming, to support the company’s three health charity partners – Diabetes UK, the British Heart Foundation and Cancer Research UK.
A spokesman at the store said: “For every mile a colleague achieves the company will match it with a £1 donation up to a total of £1 million pounds.” Cleckheaton staff are shown getting on their bike for the chosen charities.
