Letter: Get in touch to help WW1 project

Everyone has a story to tell '“ make sure your family is remembered by being part of Kirklees Council's One in Every Family Project commemorating World War One.

What did a member of your family do in WWI?

We would particularly like to hear from people whose female relatives were involved in the war effort, whether as nurses, munitions workers, part of the Land Army or others who took on once men-only jobs for the duration.

Would you like some help in finding out more about a family member? With help from the Kirklees Library Service, we can help you research your family member’s involvement in WWI.

The project runs until November 2016 and will result in a series of posters in railway stations, bus stations and other public places throughout Kirklees.

Don’t let your family’s story be forgotten.
