THIS week in Past Times we have some interesting photographs from reader Marion Dixon.
The picture of a class at Carlinghow School, in Batley, is from 1924.

Marion's mother, Grace Sykes, is on the end of second row first on the left. Her twin sister, Clara, is on the next to the back row, fourth from the right. The pair are wearing identical dresses!

Marion thought this might stir memories for other readers – and she also wants to appeal for information about the other photographs.

"I wonder if anyone can identify the other people on these photographs", said Marion.

"They may be related to my mother Grace, whose mother was Marion Ball (later Lodge). She was born in Morley.

"My mother died earlier this year and these photos were among her belongings."

Marion's grandmother Marion Ball married Brooke Sykes who died in 1913, aged 28.

Marion remarried in 1917, to Herbert Lodge.

The photograph of Marion Lodge was taken in the 1950s.

"I should be very interested if anyone has memories regarding any of the photographs," said Marion.
