Batley Boys win thriller to secure place in showdown

BATLEY Boys will meet host club Dewsbury Moor in the final of the Boddington's Challenge Cup at Heckmondwike Road on Saturday, August 2 (2.30pm).
The Boys won their semi-final against Thornhill Trojans 28-10, while Moor beat Castleford Panthers 46-12.
Admission to the final is £1 50p for OAPs and children under 16.
Batley largely dominated their game and took the lead with a try by Aiden Lister, followed by two from his brother Adam. Kev Hall and Kev Brown also touched down in a convincing win.
Batley Boys have resumed training for the coming season in the Yorkshire Premier Division.
They are training at Taylor Street, each Monday, Wednesday and Friday (6.30pm).
