FC WASPS remain top of Wakefield League Division One after Saturday's 4-0 home win over Ossett Two Brewers.
Joe Green scored twice while Andrew Milligan and Tim Bruce also struck to keep the Mirfield side two points clear of Outwood Victoria, who had a 3-0 success at AFC Alverthorpe.
Rose Of York are third, level on points with Outwood, after a 4-0 home triumph against third-bottom Old Bank WMC.
Sean Housecroft led the way with two goals while Shaun McDaid and Jason Goodall were on target for Rose, who have two games in hand on both Wasps and Outwood.
Dewsbury Rangers remain in fifth place, eight points behind leaders Wasps but with four games in hand.
In the Premier Division, Battyeford Airedale Celtic kept in touch with the race for the title after a 4-1 home victory over Crofton Sports.
Goals from Andy Gott (two), Wayne Flannery and Jimmy Procter saw Battyeford go fourth and close to within six points of leaders Horbury Cherry Tree, who lost 4-0 at Rothwell, having played a game more.
Thornhill stay in third place, level on 22 points with Battyeford, but have three games in hand on the leaders.
Morley Cricket and Sports Club kept their title charge on track in Division Two with a 2-1 success at second-bottom Dewsbury Rangers Reserves.
Lloyd Bonsells scored for the hosts but Morley took maximum points thanks to strikes from Steven Chew and Kyle Varney.
Victory saw Morley climb to second place, three points behind leaders Garforth Rangers but with a game in hand.
n Thornhill marched on in the Jim Callaghan Cup with a 5-0 second round success at Division Two Garforth WMC.
Nathan kemp fired a hat-trick for the Premier Division visitors, who also hand Kieron Bonner and Lee Brook on target.
Dewsbury Rangers host Alverthorpe on Saturday in their first round tie.
