ANOTHER weekend and more postponements have left Shaw Cross Sharks behind the rest in the National Conference and needing to catch up on cup ties.
On Saturday the Sharks try again to meet Leigh Miners Rangers at Leeds Road in the Challenge Cup first round (1.30pm) after being frozen off last Saturday.

The Sharks have played fewer games than any other club in the Conference Second Division which suggests they will have a hectic time as they seek to climb away from the bottom two. They are actually seeking a second successive win this weekend as in their last game they beat Irlam Hornets in the National Cup, a little matter of eight weeks ago.

Thornhill Trojans entertain Heworth in Conference Division One, (2pm).
